FBS Tape 2 Pack Test Set
For the first time ever, FBS Tape has evolved. Tested and approved by around 100 selected pro fingerboarders worldwide, both new materials stay remarkably close to the original Extra Smooth you know and love since 2008, with only subtle differences in feel and break-in time.
Can’t decide between instant worn-in and maximum durability? Grab both! This special bundle includes 1 Pack of FBS Extra Smooth (New Formula) and 1 Pack of FBS Sample D so you can test them side-by-side.
- FBS Extra Smooth (New Formula): Feels like worn-in Extra Smooth Tape made from the original 2008 material, giving you that sweet-spot grip from your very first session.
- FBS Sample D: Needs just one session to break-in and get that classic FBS feel, and then stays in that golden zone for weeks.
Pro Tip for Best Performance:
- Before applying the tape, put a few drops of water on it and gently rub it in with your finger.
- Tap it dry with a towel or paper towel.
- Apply the tape to your deck and cut it to size.
- Final Step: Press a piece of adhesive tape or a sticker onto the FBS Tape and pull it off to remove any excess dust. You’re ready to ride!
Repeat Step 4 whenever your tape needs a quick freshen-up!
I highly recommend cleaning your tape properly at least once when you first set it up. As mentioned, the difference between the two materials is subtle, and both perform exceptionally well. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong either way. If you’re used to riding FBS Tape, you’re going to love both. You might just end up liking one a little bit more than the other!
